3D Animation and Lighting
For the final animation I want to create a short advert showcasing all the products I’ve modelled. In order to do this I’ve drawn out a quick storyboard to show the general order of what I want to happen within the scene. I want to carry out the concept from some of my previous renders by having the products fly out of the open box whilst the camera focuses in on them.
The first scene will be a fly by of the closed box surrounded by a dark environment with only the box and the stage being lit up. It will then slowly open to reveal two mirrors floating out of the box to which they will then spin around to display the whole product before flying out of frame.
To showcase the lightbulb I didn’t want to have it fly out the box as well so I instead continued to keep the lamp floating in the air before the lightbulb flys in from behind the camera and slots itself into the lamp. The lamp will then turn itself on before the end scene is shown.

Final Animation
During this brief I have learnt a lot more about stage lighting after trial and error of what lighting looks appropriate for which scenes. I have also practiced how to try and create animated showcases that display the product whilst also being conceptual at the same time.
