Experiential and Environmental Brand Applications
As I wanted the whole re-brand to have a more gritty feel to it I wanted to incorporate some graffiti-esque designs into the environmental applications. To do this I created quick compositions of the lettering and arrow iconography onto the side of these stairs and also erasing parts the design to give it the worn down effect. By displaying these graffiti designs at different places in the city the Freedom Festival brand will gain more exposure from the public day to day viewing of it as they’re walking down the street which leads the public to recognising it more often subconsciously and building the brand identity.
For this design I also orientated the letters in “freedom” and “festival” to fit with the shape of the stairs making it look more visually appealing.

For this design I scaled up the the logo of the Freedom Festival, and again tried to make it fit in with the landscape I designed it on.

As well as the arrow iconography in that can be used digitally it can also be transferred to the real world in the style of a functional sign that can direct visitors to different areas of the festival. It also provides as a place for people to take pictures at, which when posted on social media can be free advertisement for the brand.

Branded Apparel
Here I designed two quick mock-ups of potential merchandise that customers can purchase at the festival and continue to advertise it as they wear it walking around in public.
