Persona

For my first persona I’ve created one that’s based off one of the primary stakeholders which are the teachers/lecturers who can use the website as a resource for teaching their class. After creating this persona I’ve gained a clearer idea on the content I need to include on the page. As she’ll be teaching this to her students it needs to be an engaging and interesting to look at website, therefore I heavily considered what the general colour scheme should be and what elements I should include that I think would appeal to students interested in design.
After writing down what the persona’s frustrations and pain points would be I could more easily narrow down what I should write about in the website and what would appeal to that specific audience that I have chosen to target it towards. After I had created this persona it also helped me to stop including elements that only I would like but also what I think different groups of people would enjoy also. I have therefore been able to reference it continuously whilst making the website and referring back to points I think would be important to include.
